Senior Photos

Where do I begin? Seniors are HARD!!! They don't like to smile, they don't like photos, they are anxious for their first photo shoot, they break out, they're uncomfortable in their skin, they feel stupid when its about them, the list goes on and on. And that's ok. It's ok to not be a model, and its ok to be uncomfortable. And so they are hard. But it is simply rewarding to see the difference between a senior's involvement between the first and last shot. Now I'm not saying they're begging for more, and more often than not, they're happy its over. But what I can say is I try to get them to loosen up a bit. If I can get that first smile out of them, make them do something stupid, then I'm in and the rest of the shoot is a breeze. They are certainly a challenge I enjoy and have fun doing.
